Apollo posts solid origination with record inflows in Q1

The firm's AUM grew 17% to $785bn, with its multi-asset credit platform reaching $8.5bn.

Despite a quarter characterised by volatility in public equity and fixed income, along with uncertainty over distributions and exit multiples in private markets, Apollo continued growth in assets under management and had solid inflows and origination activity.

At the end of the first quarter on 31 March, assets under management at the New York-based manager grew by 17 percent year-on-year to $785 billion.
