The appointee joins from rival firm FWD following the previous incumbent Phil Joubert’s move from AIA to Oaktree Capital Management last year.

Pan-Asian insurance firm AIA has brought in a new head of investment consulting to succeed the previous incumbent Phil Joubert, who joined Oaktree Capital Management last year.

Rowan Cook has taken up the Hong Kong-based role, with a group-wide remit for investment strategy and advisory for AIA’s $333 billion asset portfolio, according to a post he made on LinkedIn earlier today.
