Investec Specialist Bank has bolstered its corporate lending practice with the addition of former Deutsche Bank executive Alexandrew Neiss, the bank said in a statement.
Neiss joins Investec Specialist Bank’s corporate lending team (known as Investec Specialist Corporate Capital), where he will report to Callum Bell, head of specialist corporate capital. His role will be to help originate, structure and arrange financings for financial sponsors and corporate clients.
ISCC’s primary focus is on originating, structuring and providing capital to mid-market companies in the UK and EU with EBITDA of more than £15 million (€17.7 million; $23.9 million).
At Deutsche, Neiss worked in corporate finance within the bank’s healthcare investment banking team. He was responsible for client coverage and M&A execution as well as working on debt and equity opportunities with the relevant product teams.
Before joining Deutsche, Neiss worked within the leveraged finance division of Royal Bank of Scotland.
Bell said the appointment reflected the bank’s continuing strategy of supporting mid-market-focused financial sponsors and corporates.
