IPERS seeks private debt fund managers

The Iowa pension fund wants help with its investment needs.

Iowa Public Employees' Retirement System has issued a request for proposals from firms to manage $250 million for corporate private debt, and another $250 million for private real estate debt.

The $29 billion US public pension has a target private debt allocation of 5 percent.
