Muzinich & Co hires head of Nordics

The hire will allow Muzinich to grow its business in the Nordic countries across both institutional and wholesale markets.

Muzinich & Co has hired Peter Andersson as head of Nordics to develop the company’s presence in the region.

Andersson joins Muzinich from Legg Mason where he spent almost ten years focused on business in the Nordic region, most recently as head of Nordics and new markets.

He began his career in 1999 in investor relations and has held roles at Standard & Poor’s, Credit Suisse and Castlestone Management.

At Muzinich, Andersson will focus on developing the firm’s presence in the region in both institutional and wholesale segments. Muzinich described the Nordic region as a key strategic market.

“Muzinich has a breadth of expertise in both the public and private credit markets and a long history managing innovative fixed income strategies,” said Andersson. “The firm is ideally placed to work with Nordic clients and provide sophisticated partnership solutions.”
