Natixis has appointed Michael Haize to lead its debt capital markets team. Haize will have the title of global head of debt capital markets in his new role.
A spokeswoman from Natixis confirmed the role is a newly-created position.
Haize was previously at Deutsche Bank, based in Paris. He served in the capacity of head of capital markets and corporate banking in this role. He additionally previously worked for Société Générale and JP Morgan.
According to an announcement from Natixis, Haize will report to Mohamed Kallala, the firm’s global head of investment banking.
Natixis made a similar appointment last year, appointing Gabriel Levy to the position of global head of debt capital markets for financial institutions in March 2016. Levy is still with the firm in this capacity.
