Rabobank, the Netherlands-based international financial services firm, has hired Hee Soo Yoon and Hemani Jadhav to its Renewable Energy & Infrastructure Finance (REIF)-Americas business.
In a statement, the firm said the hires would support the “rapid growth” of its REIF business as it aims to become “a leading financier of renewable energy projects in the Americas”.
Yoon joins as vice president and senior financial analyst in the credit risk management team, providing credit risk support for REIF-Americas. She has 10 years’ experience in banking and energy finance, including five years at HSH Nordbank where she was a vice president specialising in renewable energy finance transactions.
Jadhav, who joins as vice president and portfolio manager, also has 10 years of energy finance experience and was most recently a vice president at Unicredit/HVB focused on project and commodity finance. Prior to that, she worked on energy and infrastructure transactions at Citi.
The statement says that, over the past two years, Rabobank’s REIF-Americas business has closed 24 financings for wind, solar and biomass projects in the US and Canada, representing over $800 million in aggregate debt commitments for projects comprising more than 2,600 megawatts of power generation.
Rabobank is also active in renewable energy financings in Europe and Asia.
