SCIO Capital hires director from Credit Suisse

Sebastian Stoecker will focus on investor relationships and investment strategy at the London-based credit investment firm.

SCIO Capital, which focuses on what it describes as “high-value credit solutions”, has hired Sebastian Stoecker as a director.

Stoecker previously worked for almost 10 years in the fixed income division at Credit Suisse. A part of the Banks and Credit Solutions Group, he covered financial institutions with a focus on bespoke structured credit markets across bonds, loans and derivatives.

A press release from SCIO Capital said that he would focus on “deepening dialogues” with European institutional investors and delivering bespoke investment solutions. He will report to Jorn Czech, the firm's head of business development and investor relations.

SCIO Capital has investment strategies and managed accounts in areas including European alternative credit, clean energy credit and infrastructure.

The firm's executive team includes chief investment officer Greg Branch, a former director and head of analytics for the European Structured Products Group at Deutsche Bank, and chief operating officer Michael Heidecker, a former principal at the Boston Consulting Group in Frankfurt and Athens.
