Three Hills closes preferred capital fund at €1bn hard cap

The firm’s fourth capital solutions fund will focus on providing capital to entrepreneur-led growth businesses.

Three Hills Capital Partners has held a final close of its fourth capital solutions fund at its hard cap of €1 billion.

The fund, Three Hills Capital Solutions IV, raised significantly more than its predecessor, which closed at €540 million in 2019. The fund offers structured capital and flexible financing focused on entrepreneur-led businesses that are looking to finance their next stage of growth.

The fund received backing from a global investor base with the majority of LPs in its previous fund making commitments for Fund IV alongside new investors. LPs include public pension plans, foundations, insurance companies and sovereign wealth funds from Europe, North America and Asia.

THCP said it has completed two investments today and has a strong pipeline of opportunities.

Rede Partners acted as global fundraising adviser to THCP while Clifford Chance provided legal advice to the fund.
