Tomorrow launches high-yield advisory business

Tomorrow Partners has built on its existing debt advisory platform.

Tomorrow Partners has launched a high yield advisory service, the firm announced in a statement Monday.

Tomorrow Partners was founded last year by Neil Thomson, formerly of Apax Partners, and Jonathan Rowland, who led Citi’s EMEA financial entrepreneurs group. The firm already has a debt advisory offering.

“This a very logical next step for our firm, given our significant combined public market bond experience. We see it as an essential and increasing part of our service to advise our clients on private and public bond financings, where we have a proven track record of innovative transactions over the last three decades,” said Rowland in a statement.

The firm has already advised on four debt transactions, including Exponent’s acquisition of HSS Hire Group and Lion Capital’s recapitalisation of Ad van Geloven.  Tomorrow recently added two leveraged finance professionals.

A spokesperson was unavailable for comment.

“We had a very busy year in 2012 and have a series of transactions currently in execution.  Each one of those has required a thoughtful and tailored approach to capital raising,” Thomson said in a statement.
