Willis Towers Watson has made an internal appointment to a newly created role focusing on credit research. According to a company announcement, Chris Redmond will take on the position of global head of credit and diversifying strategies in the firm’s manager research group.
Redmond has been with the firm since 2004. He previously headed up the firms’ top-down research group. Reasons for the creation of the new position could not be determined by time of publication.
In addition to Redmond’s appointment, the firm has made two other internal appointments. Nimisha Srivastava and Paul Jayasingha are taking up the roles of global head of credit and global head of real assets, respectively.
Srivastava previously worked in the role of EMEA head of manager research. Jayasingha held the role of global head of real estate prior to this appointment.
A spokesman for Willis Towers Watson did not return calls seeking additional comment by time of publication.
