NOW: Pensions, a British workplace pension provider, has started building a private markets portfolio that will include credit.
The London-based £6 billion ($8.2 billion; €7 billion) master trust is looking to have a wide exposure to alternatives including private equity, private debt and real assets, with venture capital also on its radar, director of investment Martyn James told affiliate title Private Equity International.
