Co-CEO Wriedt leaves CIFC, Vaccaro becomes sole chief

The two men oversaw the sale of the firm in 2016 when FAB Partners acquired it from investment firm Columbus Nova.

CIFC has named Steve Vaccaro as its sole chief executive officer after his counterpart, Oliver Wriedt, departed the firm, the firm said in a statement last week. The New York-based collateralised loan obligation manager said Wriedt departed to “pursue other opportunities”.

Vacarro and Wriedt were appointed co-presidents of CIFC, which declined to comment, in February 2014 as part of a succession plan that included firm founder Peter Gleysteen resigning as CEO.
