Ohio Police & Fire Pension Fund (OP&F) committed $50 million to Putnam Hill Private Credit Fund, as per a recent investment committee meeting.
The fund is classified as a primary US mid-market fund with a focus on providing loans to privately owned companies in North America that have private equity backing.
For the 2023 OP&F Private Credit Plan, with a duration from July 2023 to June 2024, the target investment range is set at $235 million to $285 million. This marks the second commitment made during the 2023 plan year. Currently, OP&F’s private credit portfolio is valued at $533 million, representing 3.1 percent of the total portfolio. The ultimate policy goal is to reach a 5 percent allocation to private credit.
