PDI publishes the shortlists for its third annual awards today, recognising the 2015’s stand-out firms, so follow this link to vote for the industry’s best practitioners from across the Americas, Asia-Pacific and Europe.
The polls are open to the entire market and last year more than 3,000 votes were cast from around the world.
Some of the biggest names grace the shortlists, but the categories also leave room for smaller managers. This year, lower mid-market lenders have been specifically recognised, while other new categories include investor of the year – acknowledging the most forward-looking and active institutional investors – and fund financier of the year, which honours the bank lender offering fund managers the highest quality service.
PDI has also added a global category for the first time – newcomer of the year – which is open to any firm that has established its private credit business since 2010. Competition was incredibly stiff in this arena as a large number of new managers have built strong reputations in a short period of time.
The PDI editorial team drew up a shortlist for each category based on extensive conversations with market players of all stripes: investors, managers, consultants, debt advisors, lawyers and placement agents. The firms with the most and the strongest recommendations made the final list, but you will decide who wins.
Note: voting for your own firm will be disregarded as will any votes by friends and loved ones using a cloud-based email address.
The deadline is Friday 8 January 2016. The results will be published in the PDI annual review on 1 March.
