Alteria Capital raises $139.6m

The Mumbai-based investment firm held a final close on its maiden venture debt fund.

Alteria Capital has held a final close for Alteria Capital India Fund I at 9.6 billion Indian rupees ($139.6 million; €125.3 million), slightly below 10 billion Indian rupees target.

The vehicle will provide debt financing for Indian start-ups at with enterprise values ranging from 20 million to 1 billion Indian rupees.

Investors in the fund include Small Industries Development Bank of India, IndusInd Bank, foundations and high-net-worth individuals in India.
