Antares Capital and Bain Capital Specialty Finance have formed a unitranche-providing joint venture, according to a US Securities and Exchange Commission regulatory filing, a partnership that comes after Lone Star Funds withdrew from similar effort it had with Antares.
The new JV, dubbed the Antares Bain Capital Complete Financing Solution, will offer unitranche loans of up to $350 million to transactions involving private equity-backed companies, the two firms said in a separate statement released Friday.
