Blackrock and Tikehau Investment Management have provided funding to support private equity investor Ardian Expansion’s acquisition of a call centre specialist.
The deal, which saw Ardian acquire Competence Call Center (CCC), a provider of contact centre services in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, was originally announced in November last year.
The deal is the first time Tikehau has made a direct lending investment in Germany.
CCC is headquartered in Berlin and operates in eight countries across Europe, employing 6,000 people. It offers call centre services in 28 languages and services clients based across many different industries.
Ardian was previously a shareholder in CCC between 2009 and 2013. The acquisition alongside its management team is intended to help CCC strengthen its position in the German-speaking region, broaden its services and enter new markets.
CCC was first founded in 1998 and provides outsourcing customer services via calls, written services and social media channels.
