CapitalSpring adds to its underwriting and IR ranks

Todd Foust is coming from Goldman Sachs, while Kristin Reilly hails from GoldenTree Asset Management.

New York-based private debt manager CapitalSpring has hired Todd Foust and Kristin Reilly. Foust joined CapitalSpring as a managing director and head of underwriting and portfolio, while Reilly has come on board as a vice president in investor relations.


Prior to joining CapitalSpring, Foust spent 10 years at Goldman Sachs, where he most recently sever as a managing director and co-head of underwriting and portfolio for the Specialty Lending Group and was one of the founding members of the team. He also served on the management committee for the Specialty Lending Group and as a member of the illiquid investment committee of Goldman’s Americas Special Situations Group. Before Goldman, Foust was at GE Capital as a vice President of the risk/underwriting group.


Reilly was previously at hedge fund GoldenTree Asset Management, where she was responsible for international investor relations in the firm’s London office. Prior to GoldenTree, Kristin was a vice president in the research group of Bank of America Merrill Lynch for about 10 years.
