Davidson Kempner Capital Management has raised $277.8 million to date for its Davidson Kempner Special Opportunities Fund IV, according to a SEC filing. The New York-headquartered firm has set a $1 billion target and began fundraising in 2017. The SEC filing did not disclose whether the capital raise constituted a final or interim close.
Investors that committed to Davidson Kempner Special Opportunities Fund IV include the San Diego City Employees' Retirement System and the Texas County and District Retirement System.
The fund will target distressed debt opportunities in a diverse number of sectors globally.
