GoldenTree Asset Management raises $554m

The New York-based asset manager closes its sixth CLO.

GoldenTree Asset Management held a final closing of GoldenTree Loan Management US CLO 6 at $554 million. The vehicle’s predecessor, GoldenTree Loan Management US CLO 5, closed in August of this year at $603 million, surpassing its $600 million target.

Founded in 2000, GoldenTree manages $32 billion in assets and has issued around $16 billion of CLOs and CBOs since its founding. The New York firm invests on behalf of several institutional investors that include foundations, sovereign wealth funds, endowments, insurance companies and pensions.
