Golub Capital raises $2.52bn

The Chicago-based firm closes its largest fund to date.

Golub Capital Partners 11 has raised a record $2.52 billion at final close, to invest in private equity-backed businesses. The fund will target companies with $10 million to $60 million in EBITDA and will likely be composed of more than 400 loans at one time.

Investors committed to the fund include the New Mexico State Investment Council ($100 million commitment), the El Paso County Retirement Plan ($8 million) and the City of Lincoln Police and Fire Pension System.

Golub Partners 10 previously closed at $1.76 billion in January 2017.
