HFRRF issues RFP for investment consultants

The US public pension fund is hiring investment consultants to grow its private assets exposure.

Houston Firefighters’ Relief and Retirement Fund (HFRRF) is seeking to hire up to two consultants to meet the 27 percent target for its allocation to private investments, including private credit strategy.

Eligible consulting firms must be currently advising clients with a total of $50 billion for private equity, $10 billion for private credit, $75 billion for real estate, $10 billion for infrastructure, $5 billion for co-investments and $1 billion for natural resources.

The application deadline is July 31, 2018.
