As debt funds continue to erode the dominance of the banks, Germany has become a key market in the continuing growth of the private debt asset class in Europe. It is also home to a large universe of investors, many now expanding their portfolios beyond initial tentative commitments.
At our annual Germany Forum in Munich, we will be hosting three asset class luminaries to help us understand the evolution of the asset class generally as well as specific developments within the country: Hans Jorg Baumann, chairman of StepStone Private Debt & Liquid Alternatives; Alexander Bode, partner at BB Alternative Partners; and Boerge Grauel, managing director and co-head of private debt at YIELCO Investments.
The podcast will challenge participants on what keeps them awake at night; whether allocations to private debt should be going up or down; how the UK’s Brexit saga has affected other European markets, including Germany … and much else besides.
The podcast will be broadcast live on 12 June 2019 from 14:00 local time, and is expected to last for around 45 minutes. We look forward to you joining us at the link here.
