UK-based Lloyds Bank has made four new hires for its loan market team including leveraged finance, corporate and real estate positions, according to a statement from the lender.
Alaric Fountain-Barber joins from Barclays in the role of director within Lloyds’ leveraged debt capital markets team. Joining the same team as associate director is Alessandro Valenti from his previous role in Lloyds’ corporate capital structure advisory team. Both will report to Carlo Fontana, the head of the team.
Joining the loan markets corporate real estate team as a director is Ab Shome. His last position was head of syndicated loans and agency relationship management at Royal Bank of Scotland.
Nadia Jalal is also joining the loan team as an associate in the corporate loan business. Her latest role was within the global corporates relationship team and she has previously worked for ICICI Bank.
“This is an exciting time for Lloyds Bank’s Loan Markets business and these hires are a clear statement of our intent, demonstrating our commitment to support our clients,” said Simon Allocca, managing director and head of loan markets at Lloyds, in the statement.
