New York State Common Retirement Fund has committed $400 million to SSG Capital Partners V, according to the pension’s November monthly report. The Fund will prioritise in special situations and distressed debt investments in the Asia-Pacific region with a particular focus on China, India Southeast Asia.
The $215.54 billion US public pension has a 2.30 percent allocation to private debt.
