NYCRS’ CIO steps down

The US public pension is looking for Evans' replacement.

Scott C. Evans, the chief investment officer of the New York City Pension Funds for the last four years, has stepped down from his position, effective 29 June 2018. New York City Comptroller Scott Stringer named Alex Doñé as interim chief investment officer and has launched a formal search for Evans’ replacement.

The $187 billion US public pension has a 12 percent allocation to alternatives including private debt.
