OhioPERS appoints CIO

The US investor has named a replacement for Rick Shafer.

Ohio Public Employees Retirement System (OPERS) has appointed Paul Greff as its new chief investment officer, following Rick Shafer’s retirement announcement.

As the retirement fund’s CIO, Greff will lead the investment division in executing the annual investment plan and long-term investment strategy.

The $84 billion US public pension has a 19 percent allocation to alternatives including private debt.
