OP&F adopts private credit investment plan

Private credit represents $295.4 million allocated among seven different funds.

Ohio Police & Fire Pension Plan has adopted a pacing model calling for $200 million in new commitments to private credit between July 1, 2018 and June 30, 2019. Prior to June 2017, OP&F’s private credit investments were included within the High Yield portfolio.

The $16 billion US public pension has a 5 percent target allocation to private debt that currently stands at 1.9 percent.
