Park Square to split investor relations capabilities

The new arrangement will see Piers Dennison take up the role of chairman of investor relations.

London-based lender Park Square is thought to have restructured its investor relations to support its expansion.

According to a source familiar with the situation, the existing IR group has been split into a dedicated client services and separate business development team.

Roger Kempink will become head of investor relations and take responsibility for managing both teams. Kempink joined Park Square in 2014 and established its North American investor relations team in 2016.

He joined Park Square from a career in investment banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Lehman Brothers and Nomura.

Current head of investor relations Piers Dennison will become chairman of the IR group and will work closely with Kempink to ensure a smooth transition. Dennison joined the business in 2013 and has overseen a number of fundraises for the firm.

Dennison has spent 17 years working in private markets having previously been head of European business development at Providence Equity Partners and head of investor relations for Candover.

Park Square is also thought to have added additional investor relations personnel this year in the US and Korea.
