The superfood investment

Against a backdrop of volatility in the real estate equity market, elevated valuations and heightened uncertainty, commercial real estate debt is increasingly sought after for the relative value it offers compared with fixed income and direct real estate. Today, commercial real estate debt is less of a niche play and more of a mainstream proposition, catching the attention of investors due to the stable income returns and portfolio diversification it offers. We sought the views of limited partners around the globe on why they invest in the strategy, how they approach it and which methods they use for benchmarking.
