In this episode of the Spotlight podcast, we speak with Randy Schwimmer, senior managing director and co-head of senior lending at New York-based Churchill Asset Management. He says inflation has bedeviled economists and investors, since we haven’t actually seen it to this degree in quite some time, and there has been a bounce-back in the economy from covid that “came back more quickly than anyone thought”.

He also explains how Churchill and other private debt investors are addressing inflation concerns by diversifying their portfolios, and discusses what’s going on with the Fed and congressional spending in the economy.
