ResponsAbility Investments announced the first close of its responsAbility Access to Clean Power Fund at $151 million, with a $200 million hard cap. The fund will issue senior, subordinated and mezzanine debt to companies supplying off-grid and distributed energy generation solutions to households and SMEs throughout sub-Saharan Africa and South-East Asia.
