Rhode Island State Treasury approves $30m commitment

Rhode Island State Treasury has approved a commitment of $30 million to Clearlake Opportunities Partners II, according to a recent report on the pension’s website.

The $8.26 billion US public pension has a 1.50 percent allocation to private debt.

As illustrated in the charts below, this is Rhode Island State Treasury’s first commitment to a private debt fund with a 2019 vintage. Similarly, the pension has also only made one commitment to a 2018 vintage private debt fund: $15 million to Level Equity Opportunities Fund 2018.
