San Jose Police & Fire increases investment range for private debt

The public pension fund has increased its minimum to five percent and its maximum to fifteen

The City of San Jose Police & Fire Department Retirement Plan increased min and max range for its private equity target allocation. It increased its minimum to five percent and its maximum to fifteen percent, while target allocation is eleven percent.

The $3.1 billion US public pension has a 35 percent current allocation to alternatives.
