SERS Ohio approves $75m commitment

The US public pension has backed an infrastructure debt fund.

School Employees’ Retirement System of Ohio has confirmed a $75 million commitment to Global Infrastructure Partners Capital Solutions Fund II, a contact at the pension informed Private Debt Investor.

The fund managed by GIP targets riskier mezzanine-level debt transactions and gross returns between 11 and 14 percent.
