SERS Ohio approves $75m commitment

School Employees’ Retirement System of Ohio has agreed to commit $75 million to LBC Credit Partners V, a contact at the pension informed Private Debt Investor.

The North America-focused fund issues senior debt to corporations. This is the second 2019-vintage private debt commitment made by the pension after a $30 million commitment to Francisco Partners Credit Fund.

As illustrated below, the SERS Ohio has made a total of five commitments to private debt funds with a 2018 or 2019 vintage, which combined constitute $269.4 million.
