Transurban appoints new CEO(2)

Scott Charlton (pictured) has been hired to take the helm at the Australian toll road operator as a replacement for Chris Lynch, who resigned in January. Charlton, the former chief operating officer at developer Lend Lease, will assume the role in July this year.

Scott Charlton has been appointed as the new chief executive officer at Transurban, the Australian toll road operator. The appointment of Charlton, who takes up the position in July this year, comes after what a statement described as “a comprehensive selection process”.

Charlton arrives at Transurban from Australian developer Lend Lease, where he has been chief operating officer.
