UBS appoints co-heads of financial sponsors business

Matt Eilers and Simona Maellare will work together as global co-heads of financial sponsors at the Swiss bank.

UBS has promoted Simona Maellare (pictured) to global co-head of financial sponsors. She is based in London and will work with Matt Eilers who has joined from Morgan Stanley to take the other co-head role. Eilers will be based in New York, according to a memo from the bank. 

Eilers was most recently a senior managing director in Morgan Stanley’s financial sponsors group.
