UniCredit Spa has appointed Jean Pierre Mustier, a partner at French asset management firm Tikehau Investment Managers, as its chief executive.
Mustier takes over from Federico Ghizzoni and will begin his role on 12 July. Mustier is familiar with the internal workings of the bank having served as head of corporate and investment banking at the Italian bank between 2011 and 2014 before joining Tikehau.
