YIELCO Investments raises $455m

The Munich-based asset manager has held a final close for its North American-focused fund of private debt funds.

YIELCO Investments has announced its final close for YIELCO Special Situations II on $455 million, according to a recent press release by the firm. The fund closed on its hard-cap and will invest in private equity funds that focus on turnaround, distressed and buyout opportunities in North America. The predecessor fund, YIELCO Special Situations US I, closed in 2018 at $263 million.

Following this recent close, the firm also launched and held a first close for YIELCO Special Situations Europe II. The fund strategy will be the same as its US counterpart with a focus on European funds. To date, it has raised $256 million in commitments towards its $364.7 million target size.
