Idinvest promotes trio

The French alternatives firm has promoted Eric Gallerne to partner.

Paris-headquartered alternative asset manager Idinvest Partners has promoted three of its executives, the firm confirmed to Private Debt Investor.

Eric Gallerne has been promoted to partner, while Maxime de Roquette Buisson and Nicolas Nedelec have both been promoted from investment managers to investment directors. The promotions took effect in February.

Gallerne joined Idinvest in 2012 as a director in charge of senior debt investments, having previously been head of the financing engineering and acquisition finance teams at Fortis bank in France for 10 years. Before that, he co-founded and led the mezzanine arm of Groupama Private Equity, where he spent five years.

De Roquette Buisson joined the firm in 2011, and focuses on the analysis of European equity and mezzanine funds, as well as co-investment opportunities. He previously worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers in Paris.

Of the trio, Nedelec is the longest-serving, having joined in 2007. Also a funds analyst, he additionally looks at secondary opportunities.

The firm, which is led by chief executive Christophe Bavière, held a final close for its latest senior debt fund on €281 million last July. It also manages private equity and mezzanine funds.
